I went to The Nichol Vineyard Winery Winemakers Dinner at Tapenade Bistro. The evening began with a series of hors d’oeuvres followed by a multi course dinner created by Chef Alex Tung. Each plate was paired with the wines from the featured winery of the evening.

It’s the most popular bubble tea franchise in Metro Vancouver. Although it specializes in bubble tea it also offers a good variety of casual Taiwanese snacks and hot food. Some consider it the “McDonald’s of Bubble Tea” I wouldn’t necessarily agree.

There are definite highlights here and I really burned a hole in the wallet to have to discover the trick to ordering here. It’s actually the simple, basic and traditional items that do best here, so it is a great place for authentic Japanese nigiri & sushi.
