Bake for the Quake – Bake Sale & Fundraiser for Japan

What a brilliant and fun concept! My friends are organizing, participating, volunteering and attending Bake for the Quake and I think you should too! This is a great event fit for families, foodies and lovers of anything delicious! Hope to see you there!

For a full list of talented bakers involved please see here. I love that there’s a mix of small locally owned and stay at home bakers supporting this event and I can’t wait to check them out!

One of the home bakers includes David from French Made Baking, who kindly dropped me off a box of macarons and his Le flan pâtissier the other day. They’re home style Parisian macarons that were a bit too sweet for me, but they included unique flavours like Chai, Chocolate & Crystallized Ginger, Earl Gray & Milk Chocolate and Coffee & Confit Orange.

Nonetheless this is a fun event for a good cause… and apparently there will be lots of cupcakes… so Follow Me Foodie readers this event is likely to be for you. Even if you don’t like sweet things then there’s no harm in picking some up as gifts or just helping to spread the word. On behalf of everyone involved in Bake for the Quake, thank you for your support!
