What a brilliant and fun concept! My friends are organizing, participating, volunteering and attending Bake for the Quake and I think you should too! This is a great event fit for families, foodies and lovers of anything delicious! Hope to see you there!

One of the home bakers includes David from French Made Baking, who kindly dropped me off a box of macarons and his Le flan pâtissier the other day. They’re home style Parisian macarons that were a bit too sweet for me, but they included unique flavours like Chai, Chocolate & Crystallized Ginger, Earl Gray & Milk Chocolate and Coffee & Confit Orange.
Nonetheless this is a fun event for a good cause… and apparently there will be lots of cupcakes… so Follow Me Foodie readers this event is likely to be for you. Even if you don’t like sweet things then there’s no harm in picking some up as gifts or just helping to spread the word. On behalf of everyone involved in Bake for the Quake, thank you for your support!

It’s going to be a great event and hopefully a good amount of $$ will be raised for Doctors Without Boarders,volunteers are greatly needed

@Dilara – what!??!?! are you serious!?! when?! Now that I’m writing this I feel like we’ve had this convo though.. it was at some event? I’m blaming it on over food consumption which leads to forgetfulness… huge apology!! In that case I can’t wait to reunite with you!! lol
lol no worries! It was at the Roundhouse during the cupcake challenge… you were super busy and we only met briefly
