Caviar. It even sounds pretentious. Considered a delicacy around the world, it is one of the highest forms of edible luxury. C Restaurant is offering a five course caviar dinner ft. Northern Divine caviar – The Canadian Caviar that is 100% sustainable and Ocean Wise.
I know, from the outside it doesn’t look like anything special. However, Tony’s Beef Noodle House is one of the popular authentic Taiwanese beef noodle houses in Vancouver. It’s a hole in the wall and it’s very popular to Chinese locals living in the neighbourhood.

Federico’s Supper Club is one of the three Italian restaurants in Vancouver to receive their Italian Quality Seal Certification, a prestigious award. For me Federico’s is about the overall dining experience more than it is the food. The food is generally very good though.

Suika opened earlier this year by the people who opened the high end award winning izakaya restaurant Kingyo. The set up is really nice and modern and the prices don’t speak of the atmosphere which I love. The food is generally excellent & it’s great value for izakaya.

Cobre Nuevo Latino is supposed to be a “blend of Mexican, Cuban and Argentinian flavors”, but I found it more West Coast or Pacific Northwest fusion with some Latin flare. Don’t expect authentic, it’s not in the name and it’s not trying to be, so you have to let go of that idea.

It’s no secret that I’m head over heels for Miku Restaurant. It’s one of my favourite Japanese restaurants, or just restaurants, in the city. It’s authentic, yet funky and creative and I can’t think of anything else that comes close to its quality, flavour, and style.

It’s considered a fine dining Chinese restaurant and it is very popular to the Chinese locals. Although not everything is “the best” it’s reliable, consistent and a solid choice for dim sum. Ask about their “VIP Card” which will give you 40% off before 11:30am!
