Taking cocktails to the next level! This is made for people on a liquid diet. If you’re in New York, this is definitely a tourist attraction for any cocktail lover. It’s a hidden underground bar with sophisticated drinks made with local and organic ingredients.

The Flying Pig is the newest restaurant to hit Yaletown & it’s quickly become a favourite. It’s a farm to table concept serving Pacific Northwest cuisine in a casual setting. I wouldn’t object to coming again and trying more dishes, but I’m also not in a rush too.

The owner is actually Jewish… and the restaurant is known for pork. Yup! He opened Traif which specializes in pork and seafood, but his heart is with the oinker. Although the rabbis would disapprove, I approve & it was one of my favourites in New York!

This is an unassuming 1 Michelin Star gastropub and restaurant that is frequented by all types of chefs due to it’s food, drinks and late night hours (open until 2am daily). Although it’s considered so “last year” it was one of my New York highlights for brunch.

5 weeks later and it was my revisit to Thierry! The presentation is cleaner and there’s definitely more variety now, which I’m not sure is a good or bad thing. Sure variety is good, but with such a large menu it’s hard to keep the detail & quality.

Mmmmm milk! I know just as many people that love it as I do that hate it. One of my nicknames as a kid was “Little Milk Girl” because I loved milk so much. However Milk Bar doesn’t have much to do with Milk, but it goes well with their desserts.

Really? The “Best on the Planet?” Bold statement. If you’re going for the experience, then yes you should try it, since it was licensed by the City of New York as “America’s First Pizzeria”. It has history, but otherwise there is better NY pizza than this.
