Richmond’s 365 Days of Dining Campaign!

Please vote Mijune Pak of Follow Me Foodie!

I don’t even know where to start. My sister announced her engagement on Sunday, and then I found out I was selected as one of the Top 12 food bloggers for The 365 Days of Dining Campaign yesterday. Anyone pregnant or graduating?

Well big and fantastic news for my sister, but it’s still early congratulations for me. Not that I don’t appreciate all the lovely comments and congratulations I have received. I had a constant blush! *Blush*. I’m overwhelmed and overjoyed by the support, but top 12 is only top 12, although I feel incredibly honoured just to be part of it.

There are 12 very qualified food bloggers and it’s anyone’s game. There is still a long journey and a lot of hard work ahead regardless of the final decision. For those who have asked, I will not abandon Follow Me Foodie in any case. I will sleep every other day if I have to.

Please take a look at all of the blogs and individuals chosen and vote for who you think is best for the job. Voting only guarantees a spot in the top 3, but the other 2 and final one will be chosen by Tourism Richmond, so it won’t be just a “popularity contest”. I would love to have your vote and support, but my congratulations goes to whoever earns the spot. I hope that whoever is chosen will stay honest, be open minded about food (which I’m sure they all are), and passionate (which I’m sure they all are too). Let The Hunger Games begin!

How to vote:

Voting starts today (Tuesday April 24th) until May 1.

1) Visit Tourism Richmond’s Facebook page between April 24th and May 1st to vote once a day for your favourite. (Facebook is the only method of voting.)

2) Spread the word.

The candidate who receives the most public votes will automatically earn a free pass to the top three. Tourism Richmond will select the other two finalists and reserves the right to ultimately select the successful candidate.
