Happy Easter! I hope you had a wonderful Easter brunch and if you’re a fan of brunch here’s another event that’s just around the corner. The Battle for Brunch is running strong in its 3rd year! Variety BC is hosting their annual children’s charity event over brunch on Sunday, April 22, 2012 from 11am – 2pm at the Terminal City Club in Vancouver.
Although it’s called a “food fight”, the only thing thrown will be a celebration… regardless of which restaurant wins! This will be my third year attending the event and I’m already looking forward to the half a dozen eggs I may potentially consume! To see my event recap from last years Food Fight! The Battle for Brunch – see here.
Participating restaurants this year include: EBO Restaurant, Edible Canada at the Market, Save On Meats, Terminal City Club, The Abercorn Hotel & Restaurant, Tigh-Na-Mara Seaside Spa Resort, YEW restaurant + bar.

Brunch, breakfast…. I like everything, breakfast buffets are the best, that way I can sample everything
I like sweet and savory pairings so waffles and sausages or french toast and bacon. Mix and match!
Eggs benedict with ham, bacon and sausage!
I’d say my favourite thing to have at brunch would be either omelettes or french toast…. depends on the filling. Mmmmmm! Brunch…. ;P
Waffles! With a side of good bacon or sausage – sweet & salty.
I love to eat anything with eggs 😀
And of course the dessert table!!
Anything with farmer’s sausage
I love Belgian waffles for brunch!
Banana stuffed brioche french toast!
I love eggs benedict for brunch, especially ones with crab or lobster. mmmmm
My favourite for brunch would be seafood omelette!
Brunch Item: Eggs. Eggs. Eggs. maybe some hollandaise
I like pancakes, waffles and sausages for brunch.
