Father’s Day Food Events & Restaurant Specials in Metro Vancouver!

I feel kind of bad. It’s Father’s Day on Sunday June 17 and I got maybe half the amount of promos from restaurants compared to on Mother’s Day. I love celebrating mom, but dad needs to eat too! Most of the time they tend to be less high maintenance as well and a simple beer, pizza or BBQ is enough. Or am I just speaking for myself?

For my dad a simple bowl of soup noodles or a medium rare steak would do the trick… and how I came to be? I have no idea. (And no, we had no milk man!). I refrain from judging though, he actually does have preferences for where he gets his soup noodles and steaks now, although in the end as long as it’s food he’s happy.

Fray’s Famous “F-Bombs“

Campagnolo Restaurant –  “Leave Your Dad Alone this Father’s Day – 50% off take-out orders to families who dine-in without dad and take something to-go for him following their meal.” Take out menu features: 12oz Rib-eye steak with choice of contorni $38 or Roast Porchetta dinner, potato terrine & market fresh vegetables $25. For dads who would prefer the company of their family, some special dishes and deals are available for dine-in at each restaurant.

Tableau Bar Bistro – is offering Father’s Day Brunch Sunday, June 17th featuring Short Rib Beef Dip, BBQ Pulled Pork Benedict, Fettuccine Alfredo wiith poached egg and lardons, “Big Daddy’s Meat Platter” with charcuterie, grilled sausage, bacon, ham and black pudding and a “Beer-Mosa” with bourbon, chestnut liqueur, demerara syrup, lemon, topped with Blue Buck.
