Follow Me Foodie to The 2nd Annual Charity Long Table Event at BMW Langley!
Last year, BMW Langley organized this Charity Long Table at their dealership in Langley featuring a 5 course menu by Bearfoot Bistro in support of Make-a-Wish Foundation BC & Yukon. I was happy to support the event last year and it is with great pleasure we welcome the event back again this year.
On Friday, October 25, BMW Langley is hosting their 2nd Annual Charity Long Table Event catered by Okanagan’s highly-regarded Joy Road Catering. Since they are located in the Okanagan it’s a rare opportunity to try them, but I’ve heard excellent reviews. The 4 course dinner will be created by Chef Cameron Smith and Chef Dana Ewart – see more about them here. Wine pairings will be provided from some of BC’s top wineries.
Joy Road Catering is guided by the “Cuisine du Terroir” movement which means “food of the earth”. They work with local and seasonal ingredients and specialize in regional cuisine representative of BC and the Okanagan.
The exclusive dinner event features a silent auction and of course opportunities to browse around their showroom and feel out some of their cars (sorry, no test driving on this occasion). It’s a sophisticated lifestyle event and social gathering for a great cause, so we hope to see you there!
Meet new people, eat great food, and plan for a safe ride home, because you won’t want to waste these wines.
Partial event proceeds will go towards Make-a-Wish Foundation, granting the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.
