Despite Unsung Heroes being on it’s 10th year, it still doesn’t get the attention it deserves. Chef Pabst creates a genius menu showcasing under-utilized seafood and it’s one of my favourite menus of the year. The only “wrong” is that it is only available for the month of February.

For $38, La Pentola serves 3 courses and a bonus primi course to share for the table. The portions were generous and representable of a regular night, but a bit expected with less a la minute options. The execution and selection of ingredients chosen for the Dine Out Menu were smart.
