It turns out that they did a little research and “Follow Me Foodie” or “Mijune” was destined for Lady Kookie Biscuiterie. They weren’t your traditional old fashioned cookies, which I like as well, but these were elegant cookies with a lighter flare and made for a more sophisticated palate.

Who has Montreal’s Best Smoked Meat? Deli Lesters VS Schwartz’s Montreal Hebrew Delicatessen. I ended up getting Montreal Smoked Meat from Lesters and Schwartz’s just so I could do a back to back comparison and the results are in!

Almost every single Prime Minister has eaten here. It was a “Happy Birthday Mr. President” kind of place and they’re famous for flambé, but I’m not the demographic. It’s very old fashioned in style and service, but part of Quebec City tradition.

Be stollen my heart! 18 stollens traveled near and far for a spot in the “Stollen Off” or “Stollen Smackdown”! What is stollen? Who has the best in town? And what to look for in an excellent and authentic Marzipan Stollen! It’s all here!

It looked more like an American frozen yogurt shop than it did a macaron boutique, but Point G does specialize in Parisian Macarons. It was recommended by Montreal locals as the “best macrons in the city” and I was satisfied!

It’s been named Restaurant of the Year with 5 star and 4 Diamond ratings. It’s considered the finest of fine dining in Quebec City, and although my dinner was okay, the Apple Crumble and Carrot Cake were the best presentations I’ve ever seen!
Follow Me Foodie to l’île-d’Orléans, Quebec! Corking cider, eating cheese, dining at the duck farm and sipping on Cassis. Visiting the local artisans and farmers and an unforgettable lunch of organic free range duck at a sustainable duck farm.
