So what is a Gumboot Dinner? It’s an intimate dinner where guests can meet, eat & converse with local growers, producers and winemakers from the Fraser Valley. It is created & hosted at Seasonal 56, a casual fine dining restaurant in Langley.

I’m calling all Montreal Smoked Meat Lovers… out to Langley! Housing Metro Vancouver’s “Best Montreal Smoked Meat” is the one and only Estrella’s Restaurant & Delicatessen. Oh god. It’s a must try. I’ll even include a Follow Me Foodie itinerary to Surrey/Langley food guide!

This is the definition of an old fashioned classic diner. It’s not a modern downtown Vancouver diner, but a real truck driver, greasy spoon, Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives potential kind of diner. It’s famous for the enoumous Mountain Burger, Everest Burger & pies!

Montana’s Cookhouse is a Canadian franchise and I visited the one at the Langley Bypass. It’s famous for ribs, which are pretty darn good and worth trying. It’s casual, no fuss, big portion meals and it’s affordable, kid friendly and great for families or group dining.
