I love eggs. I will eat them here and there, I will eat them ANYWHERE! Egg is a casual breakfast and brunch hot spot in Brooklyn, New York featuring an eclectic menu with Southern influence. The Eggs Rothko is the claim to fame and a must try!
A New York style pizzeria and institution that’s constantly rated “best pizza in the city”. The line up can get up to an hour, just like Lombardi’s, but I’d rather wait in line for this one. It’s hand tossed, home made, and baked in a coal brick oven!
As I was finishing my last bites of olive oil and red beet gelato, I was also approaching the street where the Van Leeuwen Artisan Ice Cream truck was spotted… I call that a sign! This is all natural artisan ice cream!

The owner is actually Jewish… and the restaurant is known for pork. Yup! He opened Traif which specializes in pork and seafood, but his heart is with the oinker. Although the rabbis would disapprove, I approve & it was one of my favourites in New York!
Follow Me Foodie to New York! Together with my lap top, camera, and appetite I played a little “Sex in the City”… or more like “Foodie in the City”, where good things end with dessert instead of a cigarette. Here’s my bite of The Big Apple!
