I tried the Chef’s Playground Menu which was more modern American-Creole cuisine and this is the traditional a la carte menu. The skillet roasted foie fras over blueberry beignets with a foie gras brandy milk punch & Creole Bread Pudding Soufflé are a must try in NOLA!

Chef Tori McPhail was nominated as Best Chef of the South at the James Beard Awards and the restaurant has already collected several National awards in the past. It’s the classic fine dining restaurant in New Orleans and this was The Chef’s Playground Menu.

I did the Emeril Lagasse so I had to do the John Besh! It was American comfort food with a playful twist. It’s located in The National World War II Museum and iIt was a very typical Southern American restaurant with big portions and affordable prices.

There is no doubt Chef Link and his team are incredibly talented and it’s likely you would never go wrong at his restaurant, but Herbsaint just felt familiar and reminiscent of home in terms of its focus on locally sourced ingredients and French bistro influence.
