This is an unassuming 1 Michelin Star gastropub and restaurant that is frequented by all types of chefs due to it’s food, drinks and late night hours (open until 2am daily). Although it’s considered so “last year” it was one of my New York highlights for brunch.

Manhattan, New York – Momofuku Milk Bar

Mmmmm milk! I know just as many people that love it as I do that hate it. One of my nicknames as a kid was “Little Milk Girl” because I loved milk so much. However Milk Bar doesn’t have much to do with Milk, but it goes well with their desserts.

Manhattan, New York – Lombardi’s Pizza

Really? The “Best on the Planet?” Bold statement. If you’re going for the experience, then yes you should try it, since it was licensed by the City of New York as “America’s First Pizzeria”. It has history, but otherwise there is better NY pizza than this.

Manhattan, New York – Má Pêche (Momofuku)

Má Pêche is the newest restaurant to join the Momofuku empire in New York. Along with introducing ramen to New York, these infamous Steamed Pork Buns are what launched the brand to its success. It is the signature Chef David Chang item.

A must try destination for any foodie who visits New York. Shake Shack or Love Shack? It was both! It’s a sacred shack where burger lovers unite, and although I wasn’t first in line, I was there to join hands with its loyal followers.

Manhattan, New York – Katz’s Deli

Frequented by movies stars, singers, rock stars, comedians, locals and tourists it’s apparently the place for pastrami sandwiches. Almost as famous as it’s diners, Katz’s is a New York institution serving the “best” pastrami on rye sandwiches since 1888.
